Looks can be Deceiving

Life is Strange

What is the plot of Life is Strange?

The plot highlights the fact that we are helped by those whom we ignore and avoid, and Deceived and Cheated by those whom we trust the most and this upcoming story of a stag is all about that.

A stag stood at the edge of a clean pool of water. He gazed at his reflection, and looked at his great antlers with pride. “How beautifully they are fashioned!” he thought. “See how they branch and spread. They are superb antlers. But my legs… what slender weak-looking things they are! I wish I had legs that looked as good as my antlers do.”

The stag was still looking at himself and wishing for better legs when a lion crept up behind him. He darted away and soon outdistanced the lion. His spindly legs served him well. As long as they were in open country, the lion could not catch up with the stag.

But soon they were in a wood, and here the going was difficult. The trees crowded thickly, and the stag was slowed down. The lion gained on him.

Then the stag's antlers got caught in the overhanging branches of a tree. He was done for!

In the few moments before the lion sprang, the stag thought sadly : “I was ashamed of the look of my legs. I thought they were very weak and useless. But they actually helped me get away from the lion. And my antlers, that were my pride and joy, failed me in my hour of need.”

Then the lion pounced upon the poor stag killing him instantly.

Moral of the Story:- We are often served by that which we despise, and betrayed by that which we like and trust.
